Time in Status Tracker — Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-12 · Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Time in Status Tracker for Jira Cloud and any other app or cloud utility that GrowOpsHQ (“we”, “us”) publishes for Atlassian products on the Atlassian Forge platform (together, the “App”). By installing or using the App you agree to them on behalf of the organisation whose Atlassian site it is installed on. If you do not agree, do not install the App, or uninstall it.
These product terms supplement our general Terms of Service. Where the two conflict in relation to the App, these product terms prevail.
1. Who may use the App
The App is intended for organisations and the people acting on their behalf. By installing it you confirm you are an administrator of the Atlassian site concerned, or are authorised by one, and that you are at least 16 years old.
2. Installation and Atlassian's terms
The App is installed from the Atlassian Marketplace by an administrator of your Atlassian site. Your use of Atlassian products, and your purchase of any paid tier of the App through the Marketplace, are governed by the Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use in addition to these terms. Billing, invoicing, renewals and refunds for paid tiers are handled by Atlassian under its Marketplace policies, not by us directly.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Atlassian. Atlassian, Jira and Forge are trademarks of Atlassian Pty Ltd. Atlassian's decisions about your site, including any action it takes against your account or the App's listing, are outside our control.
3. Permissions
When the App is installed, Atlassian displays the permissions (scopes) it requests. By approving them, your administrator authorises the App to access your site to that extent and no further. We request only the scopes the App needs to perform its stated function: reading issues and their change history. You can revoke that access at any time by uninstalling the App.
4. How your data is handled
The App is built entirely on Atlassian Forge. GrowOps HQ does not collect, store, or transmit any customer personal data to third-party servers. All data processing occurs entirely within Atlassian's secure cloud perimeter via Atlassian Forge. In practice this means:
- The App's code runs on infrastructure operated by Atlassian, not on servers we operate.
- Issue data is read through Atlassian's APIs to produce the App's output and is not copied to any system outside your Atlassian site.
- The App makes no outbound network calls to GrowOpsHQ or to any other third party.
- Uninstalling the App ends its access to your site. Any data the App has stored using Forge storage is retained or deleted in accordance with Atlassian's Forge platform policies.
You remain the controller of the data in your Atlassian site. We do not have access to that data outside the App's execution on Forge, and we cannot retrieve, export or restore it on your behalf. Our Privacy Policy describes this in the context of our wider data handling.
5. Licence and intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, text and branding, belongs to GrowOpsHQ. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App within your Atlassian site for your own internal business purposes. You retain all rights in the data in your Atlassian site, and you grant us only the licence needed for the App to operate on it.
6. Free and paid tiers
Time in Status Tracker is free for Atlassian sites with up to 10 users. Larger sites are billed per user through the Atlassian Marketplace at the prices shown on the App's listing. We may change tier prices or the free-tier threshold on reasonable notice given through the Marketplace listing. A change does not affect a paid period you have already been billed for.
7. Accuracy of computed figures
Status durations, cycle times and lead times are computed from the change history Jira records for each issue. They depend on your workflow configuration, on the issue history Jira makes available, and on how your team moves issues between statuses. They are provided for operational insight and are not a system of record for billing, service-level agreements, payroll or any contractual measurement. Verify figures independently before relying on them for those purposes.
8. Support, availability and updates
Support is provided by email at support@growopshq.com. We use reasonable efforts to respond promptly and to keep the App working, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Availability of the Forge runtime and of the Atlassian products the App depends on is controlled by Atlassian and is outside our control. We may release updates through the Marketplace at any time, and Atlassian may require updates as a condition of continued listing.
9. Your obligations
These are conditions of use. Breaching them entitles us to suspend or terminate your access to the App.
- Use within your own site. You must use the App only within the Atlassian site it is installed on, in accordance with Atlassian's acceptable use policies.
- No reverse engineering or redistribution. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or redistribute the App or any part of it.
- No interference. You must not attempt to circumvent licensing, user-tier limits or the permissions model, or use the App to access data you are not authorised to see.
- Accurate information. You must not misrepresent your organisation when purchasing or requesting support.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrowOpsHQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App through the Atlassian Marketplace in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred euro (€100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify GrowOpsHQ against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of section 9.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Atlassian site. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law or by Atlassian, or if we discontinue the App, in which case we will give reasonable notice through the Marketplace listing. Sections 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of our operating jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protections available to you in your country of residence, which nothing here removes.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the version number and date above, and where the change materially reduces your rights we will give notice through the Marketplace listing before it takes effect. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.
